A new local Accountants directory has just been launched that allows you to search for UK accountants near your postcode (or in fact any postcode in the UK).

It contains the details of all types of accountants including Chartered Tax Advisors, Chartered Accountants and Certified Accountants.

There are many reasons that  you might want to find a local accountant, these range from starting a business up for the first time, needing help with planning for inheritance tax (especially now that a large number of family homes would be caught by IHT) to changing your accountant because you are not happy with your current one.  What ever the reason is by using this new directory you can save time looking for an accountant, check out their websites from the office or your home and decide which ones to contact.

If you are a UK based accountant that is not featured in the directory they are offering a free listing if you contact them via their website  just fill in the form, let them check  your details so that they can make sure that you are an accountant and once the listing is approved you will appear. Unlike many directories it doesn’t even seem that you have to link back to them, although I am sure that they will not mind if you do.
